Hello!

Cydney is a Textile Designer based in London and Brighton. She specialises in knitted textiles and favours colour and texture when it comes to creating. Cydney loves to experiment with different materials and yarns, often finding them at charity shops and dead stockist as being a sustainable designer is principal within her practice. She works not only on knitting machines, both domestic and dubied, but honors hand-craft techniques such as crochet and macrame. CV below

Other Interests

Cydney runs her own business making knitted and crochet garments, these are made using charity shop-bought and dead-stock yarns. You can find these at @_minglai on Instagram. She has a keen interest in sustainable fashion and travel, and has been known to be a great baker. She also plays football for the university team.
